Plan Modification
Consistent with the “sunshine” provisions of WIOA sec. 107(e), the Northeast Missouri Workforce Development Board, comprised of the 16 contiguous counties of Northeast Missouri, will have available for public review and comment a modification to its 2020-2023 WIOA Plan. This Plan, which provides services and funding levels under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) (P.L. 113-128), will be available for review on July 27, 2022.
This modification provides funding allocations in the amount of $762,0004 to serve WIOA eligible adults, dislocated workers and youth for the period July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023. The Northeast and Northwest Workforce Development Boards are petitioning the State of Missouri Workforce Development Board to re-designate the two Workforce Development Areas into one region and recognize them as one Local Workforce Development Area to be served by one Workforce Development Board. Information regarding this merger can be found in the application available for download below.

REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT 2020-2024 LOCAL PLAN

The Northeast Workforce Development Board Region is comprised of the following 16 county area: Adair, Clark, Knox, Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, Randolph, Schuyler, Scotland, Shelby and Warren.
As required by law, the NEMO Workforce Development Board has reviewed and revised the Local Plan to account for changes in operations and the economy for the Local Plan PY2020-2024.
This Public Comment Period will begin on 4/28/22 and end on May 12, 2022.
